A GUIDE TO

In-Race Provision

What is our In-Race Provision?

Via our in-race feed, RaceiQ has the ability to power in-race graphics and deliver metrics in real-time, providing broadcasters, analysts and viewers with a fully live experience.

Our positioning system tracks the position of each horse throughout the race and feeds those positions into a live display to ensure viewers can accurately follow every horse’s progress. Delivering 18 GPS datapoints per second for every horse, positions are updated smoothly and with near-zero latency.

Kevin Blake Headshot

“There is no such thing as too much data. I’ve been a professional racing analyst for over 20 years, but even experienced eyes will miss plenty of relevant details and nuance. Well harvested data has a great capacity to inform, surprise and improve understanding. Sophisticated utilisation of data is an area that is only going to grow in racing.”
